After five exciting and productive years at the Max Planck Institute for Biology in Tübingen (Department of Algal Development and Evolution), the Lipinska Lab is moving to France! Starting this October, we will continue our research at the Station Biologique de Roscoff (SBR), a leading marine research institute on the Brittany coast.
Our lab will continue exploring the evolution of reproductive barriers and the role of sex chromosomes in speciation in brown algae, combining genomics, evolutionary biology, and molecular tools to understand how new species emerge in the sea.
With Aline Muyle we are delighted to announce the 3rd edition of the 'Sex chromosome evolution' course at Physalia Courses.
Save the date: 5-9 February 2024
To foster international participation, this course will be held online.
